CGplot (HP-GL) is a high-performance, software package that convertsHewlett-Packard Graphics Language commands (HP-GL) to graphic output thatcan be printed on popular dot-matrix and laser printers.The software is designed to run under the UNIX operating system. It canbe used interactively in a user-friendly manner, or can be run in a user-transparent manner as a filter. All HP-GL commands are implemented forthe Hewlett-Packard 7475A plotter, including color selection for colorprinters.A special feature of the software, unavailable on pen plotters, is theerase capability. The user can specify erasure of all dots plotted by aparticular pen. The printers currently supported include printers fromEpson, IBM, Cannon, Hewlett-Packard, Advanced Matrix Technology, Toshiba,and others. CGplot (HP-GL) software is compatible with popular CAD/CAMpackages that produce HP-GL output.
